A surf coach shaking up the sunglass industry, and with only $2,000 to his name? Wild. But I didn't want to blend in. I wanted something different, radical, and fun.

I wanted to Blend Out—so I created Rockstar Cowboy.

Born on the Beach in San Diego

From selling shades solo out of my backpack, fresh from San Diego State, to guiding what’s now one of America’ fastest-growing sunglass brands, it’s been a sick ride here in Blenderville.

And it’s all happened in a blink.

A Decade of Sending It

In 2012, Rockstar Cowboy started among good friends and good music.

One style. One pair. That’s all I had.

I didn’t quite know what I was doing. None of us did. But as we quickly learned, life’s finest teacher is experience—and the only way you’re going to fail is if you stop.

Thanks to you, we recently celebrated a decade of “Blending and Sending,” and the best is just beginning.
